here is the story behind the whole site and what it is based on. we suggest that every one does look through the plot just to get a taste of what you will be getting into once you join manhatten lights.

yeah we know you have read a million of these and your sick of seeing the same thing over and over. but each site is different from the other, it is the reason why we made rules. so read them

here is where you are able to find canons and face claims. make sure you claim the pb your using before doing anything else so nobody else uses the same pb you are using. make sure you do this straight after making your character.

Here is the start of making your character on Manhattan Lights. Come here for the application code and get on your way to becoming a member here. Make sure you read the rules and plot before posting an app. Once you have an accepted application make sure you doing your claiming first though before. Then please feel free to start role playing and post anywhere you like

if your application was moved here, congratulations, you're accepted. hopefully you know you have to go get your face cliamed, maybe a plot chart up and the whole four one one.

Better known as character relationships, here is where you make friends, enemies, lovers etc. This is so you dont always have to be roleplaying your character meeting someone new. Obviously people are going to know others when going to schol with them even if you are new here. This is the place where you tell everyone else how much they know that someone and even there secret thoughts on that person. NOTE: please put updated when you're CC are UPDATED so we can clean them up for you

Here is where you come if you have any characters needed, a plot made that you want others to join in or simply if you are looking for more drama for your character. Chances are if you dont have an idea for some drama someone else will. Here is the place to do so, just so you get to roleplay with new people and everything as well. Make and join plots here.

Here is where you post up your cell phones, the voie mail, texts, pictures messages anything that a cell phone does. Text other people on there phone ut they have to have a cell phone number claimed befopre they can do any of this and this only happens in this board please.

Almost everyone seems to have online messaging now. And here is no different. Chat online with friends, family, or even meet new people through aim. make sure to sign up for a screen name before you start making posts here.

so maybe you want to send an email to keep in contact, maybe you have some juicy gossip and their not on aim, maybe you even want to send someone a secret love email. either way, it's all in here.

Everyone always seems to have tons of picture of them, there friends, and there family from throughout the years, and everyone seems to just love posting them up as well. So why not make up a photo album where people can comment on these wonderful pictures. This is where it should be made.

Most people tend to get bored at one point or another in the class as there teacher drowns on and on about the civil war or something that most people dont really care about now. Why not pass a note along to the person behind or beside you. Always a good use of your time when there isnt anything better to do during class. Just make sure you dont get caught or you might just wind up in detention.

these places are pretty high prince people, your parents have to roll with the bug bucks to have you live here. most of these places are high on top of five star hotels and have their own pool and little deck area just for relaxing. they even have space, like five bedroom type of space with still room to spare.

in manhattan the rich actually do buy some hotel rooms, or rather timeshares as they are called. they aren't as big but they have around four room, two bathroom and lots of space with maybe a small balcony or maybe large glass windows to look atthe skyline at night.

these places do offer some room but it isn't as great. they have the kitchen, living room, bathroom everything here but only one to two rooms in total. they do allow pwets amazingly. as long as their friendly, they are welcome.

money kind tight? not everyone is rich and are living paychecj to paycheck in manhattan. to them a studio it home, a large one room artment with little lifts and spaces for your kitchen and stuff. if a person fixes it up really good then, it looks like they sped a million dollars o nthe space.

Entrance of the school. The first thing that you walk into when entering our hall of education. This school, having quite the bit of funding is a very elegant place and just from appearances alone when you walk in the entrance it is definitely of higher class. The entrance containing a sitting area at front, it tends to be one of the places that the kids hang around during there breaks.

Welcome to the grand hall were the heart of the school is. Spotting kids every where in this area. From sitting down in the chairs, reading, hanging out. Mostly this grand hall is one of the main areas were the kids shake their groove things. Used for dances, and special events such as graduations, and honor student ceremony. Which ever it is you will see many students in the grand hall.

Every school has classrooms in it, this school having a bit more advanced classes where students attend being it a high class school and all. From art classes to history classes to english, the classrooms are located in each hall along with some spare rooms which are not being used. Normally you might catch a study hall taking place in these rooms.

The courtyard here a beautiful and caming place to come and really a place you can find yourself getting lost in at the same time. the courtyard being quite big here and really like a maze full of wonderful gardening and of course the fountains which tend to end up having people swim in them from time to time. A very nice place to be by yourself and just think over things like people wish to do every so often.

Need a good book, have that 1000 word report to do for history class. this is where the library is located. the size of a mansion; the library holds millions of books. From all the authors you can think of, all the different styles but remember to be quiet. You will never know when that old wrinkly librarian will sneak by you.

The caf is basically where most people seem to migrate when they are on lunch breaks and you will find people who are on spares here as well. Open for the majority of the day, though expensive it does provide plenty of good food here and places to sit and talk to friends over lunch. It can get over crowded here so don't go pushing and shoving too much. Some people just prefer not to deal with the crowd at all and eat lunch elsewhere.

this place is a relaxing hotel tucked away from the city by central park. they also double as a spa for mud baths, facial treatments and full body treatments as well.

mmm hungry? well this place is pretty expenise with it full fondue menu, chocolate, beef, cheese and the list goes on. want a fondue, tey have it! it makes this place very popular and people usually have to make reservations before hand, a few weeks ahead at times.

an infamous nightclub at manhattan lights. known for gorgeous people, dirty dancing, drugs and pill smuggling. this is the place to go for a good time, just watch your drinks, and your back.

all rock stars, singers, dancer, circus people, basketball players come and preform or play here. It hold not that much people, but the seating can change depening on the senter stage and how it is set up. ther are food and things around the ring of the square before you go to find your seats, so everything is near by.

This district has the biggest shopping center in the whole manhattan city. With stores from every street to ever street. Seeing people of many different kinds, selling everything and anything you can think of. From expensive sunglasses to knock off bags, whatever you want it comes cheap. Having to sort the real stuff from the fake stuff. Shopping is an art down here in Manhattan everyone always shops here. so stop on bye.

manhattan high runs from 9th-12th grade. kids here are dramatic to say the least, and are usually hanging out here getting into some trouble - even after school. it's not a bad place, but when there are younger boys and girls you can expect some kind of drama one way or another.

the tiny teapot is a small cafe. better than starbucks and all those other places. they have small cakes and muffins to die for and the best coffee in manhattan.

a shifty abandoned warehouse. it's a common hang out for creeps, druggies, and parties. that's right, a lot of people throw parties here - it's huge, and with the right equipment, it can be a great place to party it up.

this place sells pizza but not just any pixxa, its deep crust pizza, enough to fill you with one slice. its make different like a pie and cooked a little longer, with just one slice you get a large piece. the greatest thing is, they are pretty cheap and down't want you to spend a million dollars on a play=te of food.

the most famous park in all new york city. larger then the width of 60 cars, it seems like the best place to relax. it had its own dog park space as well as hidden waterfalls, pathways around the large area and horse trails.

ever wanted to see hairspray live? how about the lion king? all you have to do is order your ticket online and come and watch. this place is also a little pricey in seats as well as snacks and toys of the show.

need a quick and easy flight? come here and book one, online or atthe place it self. they have jetblue, south airlines, delta and a few others that go around the world.
